My Interests and Such

Games:

I'm very very fond of Pikmin. I think if Build-A-Bear had done a collab with Pikmin, I might've gone feral. Not only are all the Pikmin very cute, it's also a great game. I could spend ages just playing it, and trying to find speedruns, and to see how little Pikmin you could beat a level with. These things are adorable. It's one of my favorite franchises.

The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild was one of the games Addison and I bonded over when we met. She played it often, and it made me stop and smell the roses in my own world. I was so inspired by this Hyrule that I reformatted my mindscape to look like it. It's a wonderful game to pick up and play, explore, and see what you can do. I like Tears of the Kingdom as well, but Breath of the Wild has a grip on my heart that just won't let go.

Content Creators:

Jerma985 was one of the more standout creators I was introduced to when I met Addy. He's extremely charismatic and funny. My introduction to him was the Easy Bake Oven Stream on May 15, 2020. Coincidentally, I also asked Addy out that day. Maybe her penchant for strange men enamored me and I had to be next. In any case, he is one of my favorite creators so far. I couldn't pick a favorite stream of his if I tried, I just enjoy them all in their own way.

DougDoug is also very charismatic and funny. It's very fun watching him code his challenges (and challenges for his friends, as well), his interactions with his chat, and of course, the challenges themselves are always entertaining. He's very high energy, and I respect it. This video has to be one of my favorites.

Another great YouTuber is Any Austin. His videos bring me great comfort. He makes videos on the things not many people think about when it comes to video games, like about how accurate the carpentery in Skyrim is, where rivers start and end in multiple games, employment rates of game cities, and unremarkable and odd places in games. I highly recommend checking him out, because again, I can't choose just a single video of his.

Miniminuteman Is a great archeologist and "googledebunker". If you have any interest in human history at all, or need to show your conspiracy theorist parents a video to help dispell disinformation, he's a great source. He's got a lot of charm, and a lot of passion in what he does. He's a great resource, and seems like a good person to have a drink with. Check him out.

Tasting History with Max Miller is another one of my favorite history channels. He's charming, funny, and passionate. He makes food from recipes over thousands of years old at times, and tells us the history of the meal, of the place it came from, everything he can find on the dish. Addison and I watch him often (and get very hungry), especially around the holidays. He's very family friendly, and I believe even older kids would love his videos, and would love to try making some of these dishes.

Well. Where would we be without these two? While it's still a little jarring in some ways to see someone who portrayed me, but isn't me, and isn't another Connor, but is-- I'm getting dizzy! DechartGames are Bryan Dechart and Amelia-Rose Blaire-Dechart. Their energy is great, their chemistry with both each other and the chat is phenomenal, and they're an all around good watch. I promise I'm not biased! I'm sure you've seen them playing Detroit: Become Human, but I also recommend any of their other streams!
